What you need to know...
Ghent River Hotel is a lovely hotel set on the River Lys in the centre of Ghent. The original building dates back to 1518 and although added to throughout the ages, it has retained period features of exposed brickwork and wooden beams giving a flavour of medieval Ghent.
The hotel has been modernized throughout and offers comfortable well appointed rooms and charming lounges - the breakfast room has magnificent views of the historic city to take in as you contemplate venturing off to visit some of the 900 or so listed buildings Ghent has to offer.
