What you need to know...
Don't let the slightly odd looking shiny gold facade fool you.
This is a fine hotel within easy reach of Lille old town, plenty of shops, the Zenith and of course, the Eurostar/TGV station.
Crowne Plaza Lille might not possess the quaintness of some Lille hotels, but we think it will more than compensate in the quality and convenience of the location and the generously sized, comfortable rooms.
If you want a hotel close to the Eurostar station so you don't need to haul luggage far, then this hotel is quite literally across the street from the entrance to the station. Lille's old town is a short walk away and if you prefer you can reduce the distance by taking the park route into town.
The Euralille shopping centre is just a few minutes stroll and similarly the Tourist Information Centre which you will find in Place de Rihour.
We recommend the minibus tour that leaves every hour and takes about 50 minutes - it's a good way way to get to know Lille and know what you want to see again.
